My outlines for a collab with =Green-najotake! ♥

And I guess you could call it a request, since I had to use the clothes she wanted me to, and she decided the background's look (-> the mosaic-church-ish windows). We wanted to draw pictures with Nocturn and Youma, since there have been a few misunderstandings when it comes to drawings of Youma x Nocturn (I prefer Nocturn x Youma myself xD). Personally, I am not interested in this "pairing" NOW, but I may be interested in their relationship later on xD? I dunno if they manage to spark my interest for a romantic relationship, but as friends...? Definitely ♥

Explaining a picture always sucks, but hey xD
originally, the picture's name was supposed to be (jokingly) called "Der Sündenfall"/"The fall of mankind". Everyone knows that biblic story with Adam und Eve and THE APPLE AND SNAKE OF DOOM. Now take a second look at the picture...huh! There's an apple in Youma's hands, and he already ate a bit! OHO ♥! And what is that?! On top of the armchair there's a rotten tree with a snake...and an apple xD woho!

I hope Carina'll allow me to upload the coloured version *^* I'd love to have that one here xD ♥
*snuggles close to the outlines* ♥

.__. Gawd. You're asking ME, and atheist, to explain something religious xD? I will give my very best òwo;; ♥

Weeell, according to the bible, Adam and Eve were created by God and he wanted them to live happily in the paradise ("Garden of Eden", I think) along with animals, plants and everthing. There was nothing left for them to be desired (such as food/water). There was only ONE rule God wanted them to follow: They weren't allowed to eat an apple from the "Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil", and warned them that they'd die the day they ate its fruit. But one day, naked Eve wandered in the Garden of Eden and arrived at the "Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Its keeper, a snake, persuaded her to eat an apple from its tree (don't ask me what that snake said xD). She gave in to the allurement and therefore brought sin upon her and Adam's head. She persuaded him to eat an apple, too, and thus they noticed they were naked (they learned about "Good and Evil", desires and such). This desire for the apple brought sin upon mankind and the two of them had to move out of the paradise, to live a life in hardships on the earth.

...*laughs* I think it's called the "Fall of mankind", German "Der Sündenfall", French "péché originel" (says google translator XD).

In this picture, it's more a joke about Youma x Nocturn/Nocturn x Youma, because eating the apple means bringing sin upon, and homosexuality is seen as a sin in most societies/religions.

...*phew* Now I'm out of religious breath XD! To think I would explain Christian religion...xDD~

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE COMMENT ö//w//o;; ♥
It's funny that you want to draw like that *points above* while I always think I want to be as productive and good with CG as you are xD;; *falls with her head to the desk* Gawd, so much religion...I feel wasted...

I love your Bible references, buddy! :hug:
This looks awesome; I love the idea of them as friends.

But do both of you actually ship them?
>x<;;

Do you mind if I butt in? You missed a little detail.

Actually, the Snake was not the keeper of the Tree of Knowledge. The Snake just wanted to see Adam and Eve fall away (as we call in Christianity) from God and His Guidance, so it told them to eat the fruit. Basically, Christians believe (me *cough, cough*) if they didn't eat the fruit, we'd all be perfect and the world wouldn't be as messed up. Also, we'd be closer to God.

Snake = Satan.
God (and Jesus) and Satan are like the Wächter and the Demons. They do not get along at all.

Oo oooh, I think I missed a LOT of details. I read various interpretations of the "Fall of mankind" on wikipedia and other pages, and they argued about what the true meaning behind the apple and the snake (and Eve's role) is. Kind of confusing if you ask me, since I only heard a pretty basic explanation at school (I only had religious education for five school-years, four years being in primary school).

But the apple is only one proof for the nature of mankind, isn't it? The tower of Babel, the brother-murder (Cain/Abel)...aren't they all just proofs?

oO the snake is satan? I thought it's just a way to express the allurement dark/bad things often represent. I know that Satan is often drawn with a snake, so it's more like one of his "underlings" ? But I may be off the track x__x ♥

It's alright, I don't remember the whole story either. Yeah, many different sects of Christianity believe there are different symbols for different things. It is quite confusing (even to me) sometime. I took religion class all through JK-5th grade (primary school, I guess). I think the apple represents imperfection while the garden represents perfection. What's the Tower of Babel? I kind of know what that is.

Yes, the snake is Satan. No, it's not a way to express dark things in the world. Satan tempts us to sin (like eat the shiny apples). That was a very good guess though. :thumbsup:
In the Bible, Satan turns into the snake to make sure that Eve knows that it's not him. It's not one of his underlings, as far as I'm concerned, only because that's what my teachers taught us in Sunday school.
